Canon EOS 60d Review, Even With The Odd Shutter Roll Or Moire Effect This Camera Gives You A Huge Image, And From A Huge Sensor For The Price
I’m going to give you a great reason to love the Canon 60d. Being light weight, having a flip out LCD monitor, and using low power consumption means versatility extraordinaire. This is an amazing price for a sensor that big: what a great image! Now here is my Canon EOS 60d review:
I’ll start by talking about a day of shooting my apocalypse film. Its the perfect suburban town that turns into the infected hell of the future kinds of shots. So most of this footage was done as POV type shots, as if someone was walking down the street. And I used the Nano Fly-cam. I think it would have been better to use the larger version with an arm brace.
The Nano Fly-cam works almost perfectly with the 60d, but after a while your arm will become fatigued. The Nano is a hand held tool, so it can get heavy over time, but lets get back to my Canon EOS 60d review.
Even though it did indeed take a long time until my arm was fatigued. Why? Because I had the 60d on top of it. Compared with the 7d and 5d, the 60d is lighter, and well balanced. For shooting HD this is the lightest camera. This means you can set up your shots very quickly. I used a small crew, which was made up of just myself.
I know people in their Canon EOS 60d Review complain about not being able to monitor sound with the 60d, but I did not have a problem with that. I do a mic test using manual levels, after I simply attach a wireless Lavalier mic to it.II like using a wireless Lavalier so I hook that up, and do a test with manual levels. My levels are good 90% of the time. Automating sound like this is nothing new, a lot of news channels do it, because they are too cheap to hire sound guys. This will work fine, but it is not the best way of course.
I love the flexibility of shooting in a public place without drawing attention to myself, or quickly picking up the camera to readjust the shot.
This camera saves money and time, and puts out a pro image, through this Canon EOS 60d review you should begin to realize that you can get extreme angles, or shoot in extreme conditions, while getting a 35mm equivalent image.
I was able to cover a huge area with my 60d for my zombie film. I used available light, my light weight sticks, or the Nano Fly-cam to document the pristine neighbourhood. In the end I gathered about 2 hours of footage. It went quick, I was done before 5:00 PM, and I still had lots of energy left.
The Canon EOS 60d will produce the same great image as the more expensive cameras.
I doubt you could tell the difference between the 60d and the new Canon C300, which is based on the DSLR, but more like a video camera, when putting the image side by side. On the other hand the C300 is not as versatile because it is a lot bulkier. There is no way you would get it on the Nano cam.
