Useful And Thoughtful College Graduation Gifts
If your son or daughter is graduating from college, don’t waste your money on graduation gifts that are expensive and don’t last. Such things as luxury vacations in exotic places are not really practical unless you happen to have a bank account with 8 digits to it.

Extended vacations are practically always overkill for young people who are restless and can’t focus their minds on anything for longer than half a day. Watches are one of the best graduation gifts. It has never been so important to keep track of schedule than in our fast-paced times. Your son will find that out when he get his first job and the watch you gave him will be very useful for him. In this regard, buy him something that will last and will depreciate very little.

One of the things your son will eventually need to do is create his own resume. The quality of that resume can be a plus factor for getting him accepted in his first job. That is why a manual for resume writing is one of the more important gifts you can give any college graduate.
A pair of business shoes
When your son shows up for job interviews, he will need to look like the professional that he is and a handsome pair of new shoes will go so much towards giving him the right image to impress his interviewer.
Appropriate attire for job application
To complete his attire, you may also want to purchase him a set of the standard outfits that are used in your area by job applicants as graduation gifts. This can be a big help for him to be able to land his first job.
Bank Account with debit card
Since most companies require their employees to have bank accounts into which their wages are deposited, you might want to pre-empt that and set up a bank account for him with a debit ATM card.
