The New Samsung Transform
Just released by the Korean media and Samsung, this smart phone offers a great look with it’s slate styled design. It hit the market on October 10th for the price of $250 before a mail in rebate, and is located on the Sprint 3G network. It has a number of settings and features that have already made it a popular choice among people looking to purchase their first smart phones, such as Google’s Android smart operating system, a 3.5 inch touch screen, an 800 mhz processor and the ability to type either on the touch screen or through a built in, slide out QWERTY keyboard. The touch screen is 3.5 inches in size and includes a digital keyboard if you don’t want to use the built in keyboard that comes with every Transform. The inclusion of the traditional keyboard is actually one of the biggest selling points of the Samsung Transform, as even though the majority of smart phones you can buy new these days include a digital keyboard, there are still many people who prefer to type on an old fashioned physical keyboard where they can receive physical feedback from each of the keys.
The screen itself that comes with the Samsung Transform is not the high quality AMOLED screen that comes with some other smart phones marketed by Samsung, such as the Continuum, the Mesmerize, and the Galaxy, but it will still be more than clear and bright enough for everything you are likely to use it for. And you can enjoy the rear and front facing cameras that come with the Transform when you want to chat with people over video or take pictures and shots of things around you.
Along with the variety of features that come with the Samsung Transform, you may be pleased to learn that there are also all kinds of gadgets and accessories you can purchase for your Transform, such as cases, screen protectors, chargers, and extra batteries. It is a good idea to purchase at least some of these Samsung Transform accessories, such as a Samsung Transform case, if for no reason besides protecting your phone from an untimely end. You will not regret it the first time you drop your smart phone and pick it up and find out it’s still working the way it did before you dropped it.
Similarly, you might want to invest in a Samsung Transform screen protector to keep your touch screen working the way it did when you first bought the phone. Screen protectors are relatively lightweight and designed not to interfere with the functioning of your smart phone.
